The mission of the Oregon Corrections Enterprises is to promote public safety by providing inmates with meaningful work experience in a self-sustaining organization. Working in partnership with the Department of Corrections security and workforce development, we develop and operate businesses and support private-sector partnerships that provide value to government, garner the support of our stakeholders, and advance the potential to successfully reintegrate offenders into society upon release.
Oregon Corrections Enterprises (OCE), is a semi-independent state agency that provides products and services to the public and private sectors. Oregon Corrections Enterprises purpose and goal is to maximize returns of investment through effective use of assets through systems development in a safe and efficient environment, to thrive as a self-sustaining business in an environment of on-going change, to provide customer satisfaction through high quality, competitive pricing and customer service, and to take into account the interests and needs of all stakeholders. Oregon Corrections Enterprises has approximately 90 staff positions with approximately 1000 inmate work assignments located at Oregon State Penitentiary (OSP), Oregon State Correctional Institution (OSCI), Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution (EOCI), Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (CCCF), Mill Creek Correctional Facility (MCCF), Two Rivers Correctional Institution (TRCI), and Snake River Correctional Institution (SRCI) with a biennial operating budget of approximately $36,000,000.00. Oregon Corrections Enterprises supports the Department of Corrections’ mission by providing opportunities to those offenders who want to make a positive change.
