Who We Are
Pacific Ridge Homes is a premier builder of quality constructed homes and communities in the Puget Sound region.
A History of Experience
Michael Kinney Sr., his son Michael Kinney Jr., and his son-in-law Justin Goff, established Family Quality Construction and Development in 1999. The Company started out by building a small number of homes in the Spokane area. We soon realized that in order to build the type of growing business we envisioned, we needed to move to the Seattle area and establish business there. We moved to the Seattle area in 2000. In that same year Mark Hagenbaugh, the fourth partner and a close personal friend, joined the Company and the four partners and their wives began working under the name Family Quality Construction Development, II/ Pacific Ridge Homes, establishing a new brand image for the Company.
Pacific Ridge Homes’ first office was in a duplex located in Everett on Airport Road. As the Company continued to grow, we moved to a 3,000 square foot office also located on Airport Road. Now we own our own office building, employ over 40 employees, and are still growing.
Since the Company’s inception, hundreds of families have discovered the joy of owning a Pacific Ridge Home. Pacific Ridge Homes’ first large development was in Duvall, building approximately 47 homes. Today you will find Pacific Ridge Homes communities located throughout Snohomish County and North King County. Visit one of these communities and you'll see the quality workmanship our homeowners have come to expect.
Community and Commitment
Our people are the backbone of our organization, bringing an average of 20 years' experience in real estate development and the construction of new homes. We are a homegrown, family-owned business invested in making this an area where today's families can thrive. Our commitment goes beyond the communities in which we build, reaching into the larger surrounding communities—we feel strongly that it is important to give back to these communities. Over the past few years we have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to charities in these communities through our Building for Today—Building for Tomorrow program. We hope to continue this commitment to charitable giving, both now and in the future.
