University Housing is an auxiliary enterprise, self-supporting and self-liquidating. Employees of this department are regularly employed by the State with all attendant privileges and responsibilities. University Housing provides housing and food services to approximately 3100 single students in buildings bought with state bonds and paid for through student board and room charges. In addition, University Housing provides housing for approximately 750 families in accommodations bought by state bonds and paid for through residents’ rents. University Housing is both an educational and business enterprise of the University of Oregon. The role of University Housing is to support the academic mission of the university through the provision of residence hall and family student housing and related services. University Housing is a self-sustaining, self-liquidating agency of the university (receives no tuition or tax support for its operating budget). The goal of University Housing is to offer the highest quality of basic service at a reasonable cost. The purpose of this job/position is to create web designs and manage content for all housing related websites. Independently solves design and coding problems and updates content consistent with print publications, marketing campaigns, and deadlines. Great tuition, insurance, and retirement benefits.
